Basic: Content Layouts
What makes some brands and products special? What is it about them that makes people come back to them again and again?
When you work with us, we begin by spending quality time with you, figuring out who you really are and what you’re really about. Then we start building: We come up with a brand strategy that tells your story. We help you shape your product in a way that will make your customers happier and more productive. We build digital experiences that get the word out to the people who are looking for you, whether they know it or not. In short, we help you become more you. And then we help everyone else understand why you are exactly what they are looking for.
You want to allow anyone who views the guidelines to understand how to use them and how to deploy the brand properly. You do that and you’ve done your job.
Give a man a fish and you’ll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you’ll feed him for life.”
After you’ve shared the content outline and defined your intended audience, discuss the format in which the client wants the guidelines delivered. Do they want a printed poster? Maybe they prefer the more common PDF that gets updated every time something new gets made?
We make digital experiences that use technology to create emotions
Our job is to make technology more human. To build digital products that enhance people’s lives, help them navigate the world, help them communicate with each other, and solve their problems faster. But also create moments of joy, surprise and, dare we say it, delight.

As a senior designer, we expect you to not only be great at execution but also show great creative confidence. We expect you to articulate your point of view on designs with perfection.

We know our success relies on how fast we can adapt and that means doing things we didn’t know we could do.
First, you need to be sure and confident about your work️. Work hard on this, never stop learning, don’t be afraid to ask questions, and always doubt yourself — that’s what keeps you motivated. And please, be humble! Is there anything worse than a designer who thinks he’s a rockstar? We’re pushing pixels, not saving lives. Invest a bit of your free time to learn how to make this kind of work, just for fun. The more you learn, the better you’ll be at learning, and the more valuable you will be to any company.
Talent doesn’t exist. The talent is to want to do something. Talent is to want to achieve a dream, the rest is just sweat and discipline.
What does it actually say about your company, if you do require a degree in your job description? It probably says that you care about status instead of performance, talent and results. Or maybe it says that you strongly believe in the academic system (oh, thats another story). If thats the case, then don’t change anything and keep it as it is. It’s your company and you know how to run it better than I do. But if not that kind of employer, then maybe its worth talking about passion, dedication, teamwork, communication and “love for your craft” and leave out that “degree is required”.
As a senior designer, we expect you to not only be great at execution but also show great creative confidence. We expect you to articulate your point of view on designs with perfection. We expect you to be a trusted partner for Design Leads and Creative Directors, knowing you will always be effective and hopefully always surprising.
